Course Name: Naval Technology in Hydrography (FIG/IHO/ICA Cat.B) Purpose: The objective of the course is to provide students with the ability to plan, prepare and execute the necessary activities during a hydrographic survey project, seeking to strengthen practical skills and the ability to analyze and research. Language Requirement: Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish. Prerequisites: Secondary education and current student or graduated in petty officers navy school of originary country. Registration Process: In parallel the candidate will run a military naval course and will also obtain a rank as a petty officer at the end of his 2 years of training. Conditions: Send a formal request to the second commander of the Colombian Navy, endorsed by the naval commander of the original country of the candidate. Cost: No cost for MACHC members and MACHC observer countries with active agreement of cooperation between armed forces. Colombian Navy provide meals, accomodations, and training materials.
