Training Opportunity Available:

                Operator Mechanic (HM) – [OM(HM)]

 

Description of Training:
This is an 11-week course to become an Operator Mechanic. The Operator Mechanic (Hydrographic, Meteorological and Oceanographic) (OM(HM)) is a small specialisation within the Warfare Branch of the Royal Navy whose wide-ranging role stretches from surveying the oceans of the world to observing the weather for maritime and aviation operations.

Prerequisites:

            ▪ Good English

            ▪ Knowledge of basic seamanship
